Local Weather Data

 

Gunnison County Electric Association (GCEA) documents weather data in coordination with the National Weather Service (NWS). Specialized equipment has been established at the GCEA headquarters to assist in accurate readings for temperature and precipitation. The data is collected each work day and uploaded to the NWS at the end of each month. Our data, as well as that collected by other cooperative weather observers, helps define the climate of the United States.
