Green the Grid

Did you know that as a GCEA member, you’re already using renewable energy? Today, about 30% percent of the energy you use comes from renewable sources, provided by Tri-State Generation & Transmission.  Solar power, wind energy, and other sources all add up to create a diverse fuel mix to meet your energy needs. If you want more green power, we offer our members several different ways to voluntarily support clean energy through our Green the Grid Programs.  You can easily reduce your carbon footprint by simply signing up for one or all of the options below.

For a little extra per month, the Green Power Program offsets your electric usage with renewable energy credits (RECs).
